He congratulated the winning candidate and said the victory was the indication of the people’s satisfaction over their 100 days administration. He held the control over prices of the daily commodities and the continuous power supply for the victory of their candidate.

It is evident that the Nandigama assembly constitution in the successor state of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh has become the focal point in the state. Thangirala Sowmya won the seat over her immediate opponent Bodapati Babu Rao with a grand majority of 74827 votes. The counting of the by-election held on Saturday began at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and concluded by 11 a.m.
