GHMC Continues Demolition Spree. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) continued with the demolition drive and pulled down several structures in the city on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) continued with the demolition drive and pulled down several structures in the city on Tuesday. With the help of a demolition squad, the GHMC officials managed to remove the development of unauthorised layout which was in an extent of 16 acres at Chapala Cheruvu in Survey No 58 (P) at Karmanghat, Saroornagar.
The demolitions of encroachments at two locations in Lingojiuda were also taken up. A compound wall on the road margin and permanent structure of Ganesh Mandapam on road beside Jyothi Club were also pulled down. At Champapet, encroachment of Nala Slab Sultansalva and demolition of a room belonging to one Nala Mahender was also completed at Sultansalva.
