Vijayawada: Senior Telugu Desam leader and noted cardiologist Dr Kodali Ramakrishna on Tuesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with 50 doctors from the city. The party State president K Haribabu and Minister for Health, Dr Kamineni Srinivas, have formally admitted them into the party during the party's State Council meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ramakrishna said that he was impressed by the performance of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the last 100 days. He expressed confidence that the country would grow on all fronts under the leadership of Narendra Modi. He also donated Rs 1 lakh for the Prime Minister Relief Fund on the occasion.
