Hyderabad: Late on Tuesday night, a revenue officer was attacked by the sand mafia. Upon receiving authentic inputs, the revenue and police officials have laid a tab at Pullur check post in Manavapadu Mandal in Mahabubnagar district.
While Srikanth Reddy, the Revenue Inspector, was on his way back to home on Tuesday night, the sand mafia gang collectively attacked him and also destroyed his car. He immediately went to the Manavapadu police station and registered a case with the police. In his complaint he mentioned that as many as 20 people attacked him. More details in the matter are awaited.
