Priyamani bats for animal freedom
After tennis star Sania Mirza campaigned for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), actress Priyamani joined the bandwagon of celebrities fighting for animal rights and against animal cruelty.
After tennis star Sania Mirza campaigned for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), actress Priyamani joined the bandwagon of celebrities fighting for animal rights and against animal cruelty.
Whether acting or dancing, Priyamani chooses to entertain the public – a choice not offered to the thousands of animals who are imprisoned in cages in India for human entertainment. The actress teamed up with PETA India for a campaign against zoo cruelty. The motive of the campaign went on the lines of letting animals live in their natural habitats than in the seclusion of cages. The photoshoot for the campaign was at The Infantry Hotel in Bengaluru. Priyamani’s outfit was created by Pritika Wadhwani, and her hair and make-up were done by Tejal Rao.
