Rayapati to head Committee on Protocol Norms
Narasaraopeta MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has been nominated as the Chairman of Committee on Violation of Protocol Norms and Contemptuous Behaviour of Government Officers with Members of Lok Sabha.

Guntur: Narasaraopeta MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has been nominated as the Chairman of Committee on Violation of Protocol Norms and Contemptuous Behaviour of Government Officers with Members of Lok Sabha.
The Lok Sabha Speaker constituted a 14-member committee headed by Sambasiva Rao to deal with complaints referred to by the Speaker regarding violation of protocol norms laid down from time to time regarding official dealings with members of Parliament and discourteous behaviour by government servants, if any, with members of Parliament in official dealings.
The Chairman can make such recommendations as deemed fit depending upon the nature of complaint. Based on the recommendations Parliament would recommend disciplinary action against the officer concerned.
