Paritala Sunitha Refutes Extortion Charges Against Son. Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha took strong objection to the smear campaign against her family.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh State Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha took strong objection to the smear campaign against her family.

At a press conference on Tuesday, she said that some vested interests were alleging that her son Sriram was indulging in extortion from traders. “Paritala family is known for serving the people and not for extortions or harassing anyone,” she claimed.

The Minister added that she spoke to her son over the allegations and was confident that her son would never indulge in such activities. She called upon the people not to believe in any such calls or demands from any quarter and if anyone gets calls demanding money, they should immediately lodge a police complaint. She said people should seek police help even if someone claims that it was Sriram himself on the line. They should also give the phone numbers from where the calls had come, Sunitha added.

She explained that some followers of Former Minister and her husband Paritala Ravindra were sporting 'Paritala' stickers on their clothes. But this does not mean they were resorting to extortions, she clarified.
