With an objective to woo potential customers, BMW India demonstrated the versatility of its entire product portfolio with the BMW Experience Tour 2014 at the GMR Arena, Shamshabad on Thursday. The event would conclude on Sunday.

With an objective to woo potential customers, BMW India demonstrated the versatility of its entire product portfolio with the BMW Experience Tour 2014 at the GMR Arena, Shamshabad on Thursday. The event would conclude on Sunday.

The event showcased the complete range of sedans and SAVs (Sports Activity Vehicle) demonstrating the driving dynamics on a specially designed test course which included an off-roading track and a dynamic track.

Philipp von Sahr, president, BMW Group India, said, “With the BMW Experience Tour, we are happy to give customers an opportunity to experience driving the BMW cars in an exciting environment. With this unique initiative, we wish to move a step closer to our customers.”

The tour reaches across the nation; it started at Jaipur, went on to Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad. The tour will proceed to Bangalore, Kochi, Lucknow, Kolkata and end at Delhi.

The experience hosted separate sessions for the sedans and SAVs (Sports Activity Vehicle). BMW Dynamic Drive highlighted the dynamics of the BMW sedans, while BMW xDrive Experience showcased the versatility of the BMW range of SAVs. Customers could choose among the 1 Series, the 3 Series, the 5 Series and the 7 Series through braking, slalom, corner braking and fast lap exercises for the dynamic drive.

While with X ramps and obstacles like articulation humps, steep hill and incline, the event showcased the power of the X range with the X6, the X5 and the X3, under the expert guidance of BMW trainers.

The tour not only provided customers with an opportunity to test drive the vehicles and interact with product experts, but also provided customers the opportunity to experience the thrill of BMW M cars, including an exterior view of the latest M5.
