Anathapuram: Hindupuram MLA Bala Krishna started 'new' RTC bus services grandly. But, these busses are making of unnecessary halts. Adding to the woes, the constant breakdowns at regular intervals making the passengers restless.
Here on Saturday bus registered AP 28 z 5181 broke at Navodaya Vidyalam at Lepakshi. There are approximately 50 students in bus. They got down the bus and pushed it all the way to their destination.
Passengers are expressing their anger that they are facing these problems due to the bad condition of old busses provided by APSRTC.
Officials are saying that the Hindupuram RTC depot was allotted new ‘Pallevelugu’ and ‘Super Luxury’ services. However, the truth is that these so called ‘new’ services are actually fully worn old buses. They were running the newly painted old buses. Certainly, this serious issue requires Bala Krishna’s attention. What say?
