An auto driver, Sunke Kumar (25) of |NTR Nagar in Godavarikhani mandal of Karimnagar district, was stabbed to death on Saturday midnight allegedly some fellow auto drivers.
Karimnagar: An auto driver, Sunke Kumar (25) of |NTR Nagar in Godavarikhani mandal of Karimnagar district, was stabbed to death on Saturday midnight allegedly some fellow auto drivers. The murder followed a row between the victims and the alleged attackers over parking at local bus-stop. Mahesh, a local auto driver, invited Kumar to his son’s birthday function on Saturday. After consuming liquor, the auto drivers fatally attacked the victim with knives in an open area. The killers allegedly tried to burn his blood-stained clothes. The incident came to light after the police took the attackers into custody during patrolling. Two Town CI Sridhar took up investigation.
