Bomb hoax at Sec’bad station

An anonymous call made by an unidentified person on Sunday informing that a bomb was planted at Secunderabad Railway station kept the police on toes. Police personnel, including bomb squad and sniffer dogs, had been pressed into service and started search operations, but later confirmed that it was a hoax call. “We tried to avoid panic among passengers and carried out search operations,” said the police.
