TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao has admitted to meeting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday. However, he has denied meeting KCR alone at midnight. Errabelli asserted that he met KCR along with 15 senior leaders on Sunday evening.

He also iterated that he will stay true to the party and had no plans of switching loyalties. Errabelli said that it was wrong to target one particular community (BCs) which would finally end up damaging the reputation of the party. "This issue has to be brought to the notice of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu," he added. This was an explanation following reports that Errabelli was quitting TDP to join TRS and that he had met the Telangana CM at midnight to discuss the same.
