Excise officials seize illegal liquor in Banjara Hills

Hyderabad: A huge consignment of forieign liquor was seized at Banjara Hills Road No. 1 in Hyderabad.

Acting on a tip off that illegal business was underway in wine stores, the excise officials conducted intensive search operations across the over the last two days.

The cost of the seized material are said to be in lakhs! They were apparently ready to be sold, only to be possessed by the police. Police took into custody the owner of the wine shop. Investigations are on.
