Celebs galore at Starbucks!

Hyderabad celebrates the opening of the first Starbucks store in the city with a special preview event

A celebratory evening held to mark the launch of Starbucks in the city witnessed the who’s who of city in full spirits to connect over the first brew of Starbucks in the city. Some of the popular faces seen, included actors Harshavardhan Rane, Namrata Shirodkar and Charmme Kaur; interior designers Vasundhara Sampat and Nikita Sahney with Nishant Sahney, music director Ramana Gogula, socialites Chennakesh and Sindu, Archie Paranji along with fashion designers Archana Rao and Suhani Pittie. The senior leadership team of Tata Starbucks was present at the opening including CEO Avani Davda and Manmeet Vohra – director, marketing and category, Tata Starbucks Ltd.

The event commenced with Starbucks Coffee Masters Vibhor Mishra and Karamjeet Shemar and Tata Starbucks Limited’s CEO Avani Davda cutting the ribbon.

Located at Jubilee Hills, the beautifully designed flagship store embraces the diverse history and rich culture of Hyderabad. Artistic Nizam jewelry designs layered with metallics, stringing of pearls and hexagonal shapes are weaved in throughout the store. The design elements reflect the heritage of the coffee growing regions of south India and are inspired from the city’s rich craft traditions of wood and jewelry making. These heritage design elements are complimented by highly contemporary furniture and art.
