KCR written letter to Modi on Women’s Reservation. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has submitted a letter to Narendra Modi in regard to pass the Women Resrvation Bill.

The Women’s Reservation Bill is one of the longest pending legislations in the Indian Parliament. It was first introduced in 1996 but has remained trapped in controversy ever since.

The Bill seeks to reserve 33.33 per cent seats in the Lok Sabha and in the State Legislative Assemblies for women. After a long battle, the Bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha on 9th March 2010.
However, it is to be finalized by Lok Sabha, meanwhile Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has submitted a letter to Narendra Modi in regard to pass the Women Resrvation Bill.
