Hyderabad: The Telangana government has made arrangements to webcast Saddula Bathukamma celebrations to be held on Thursday at Tank Bund. Live visuals will be beamed across the globe through Youtube on https:// www.youtube.com/ watch?v=7Nj1q7ShImA. Saddula Bathukamma marks the culmination of week-long festivities that are being organised on a grand scale in 10 districts. Meanwhile, the government recently launched a global online digital campaign through Google, Facebook and YouTube platforms to promote Telangana’s unique floral festival. This is getting good response with nearly six lakh hits received already. Telanganites living in various countries are sharing the photos and videos of Bathukamma celebrations on the Facebook page set up by the State government. A special website with information, details and videos about the festival was also launched.
