Industrial Distress Signal To KCR
The industrial department is getting very concerned over the current power crisis. It has sent a distress signal to the Telangana government.
Hyderabad: The industrial department is getting very concerned over the current power crisis. It has sent a distress signal to the Telangana government.
The power shortage has been adversely affecting the industrial sector. The production output is being decreased. More over there are hundreds of new proposals submitted for setting up of the new industries, especially in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
These proposals were being taken back. Several proposals to set up big industries too are being withdrawn as losses are imminent if this situation continues.
The situation has worsened over the last two months and the two-day power-holiday for industries, being implemented since last month, has further aggravated the situation.
The department made it clear that it will be difficult to convince investors to set up industries unless the power crisis is resolved as soon as possible.
