NIT student goes missing, A student studying B Tech third year (Computer Science) at National Institute of Technology here was reportedly missing.

Warangal: A student studying B Tech third year (Computer Science) at National Institute of Technology here was reportedly missing. The student B Venugopal went missing since Tuesday and the incident came to light on late Friday. A complaint in connection was registered at Kazipet police station by the NIT registrar ARC Reddy. According to the police sources, the student, who came from Srikakulam district, was upset over his poor performance in studies and his failure to meet the expectations of his parents. He left a letter addressed to his parents in his room.

He explained about the difficulties that he was facing in his life and asked his parents not to worry about him saying that he would come back after earning ‘lots of money’. Venugopal told one his friends that he was going to Kazipet railway station and requested him to hand over the letter he left in the room to his parents.

The NIT officials informed to his parents, besides lodging the complaint with the police. Closed circuit television footage at Kazipet railway station was examined to ascertain whether he visited the station to take the train or not.
