Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, on Thursday handed over a cheque for Rs 5 crore to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

Though RINL operations too got disrupted due to the cyclone, as a responsible corporate entity, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the company P Madhusudan presented a cheque to Naidu towards CM’s Relief Fund in the presence of Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu, Visakhapatnam MP K Haribabu, Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Panchayat Raj minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Director (Personnel) RINL G B S Prasad and others at Visakhapatnam Collectorate.

Madhusudan also agreed to adopt a village in Visakhapatnam district and make it as a model village.

Naidu appreciated the gesture by the RINL management.
