Pedaparupudi (Krishna): A woman of Kadrika village, in Yalamarru mandal, delivered in the open on Saturday, as the primary health centre was closed for the day. Done Venkatalakshmi was taken to PHC around 8.30 pm by her relatives. Even as they were shocked to find it locked, she gave birth to a baby. Enraged over the PHC staff negligence,, the relatives staged a sit-in.
