Hyderabad: As part of social responsibility, the employees of State Bank of Hyderabad on Thursday donated their one-day wage of Rs 1.5 crore to the AP Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Handing over the cheque to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the managing director of the bank, Santanu Mukherjee, said they had decided to contribute one-day wage as the coastal region of Andhra Pradesh had been severely affected by heavy rains and floods during the recent Hudhud cyclone. Many people in the State became homeless and lost their livelihood, he said.
