In a never before heard initiative, the Telugu Desam is all set to begin a massive membership drive from November 3. Not just this, to counter TRS operation akarshan TDP promises Rs 2 lakh accident insurance cover to all its members and Rs 50k to treat injuries. TDP is planning to tie up with hospitals to make this possible.
Besides, the party also vows to sponsor education for two kids in each family in the event of the death of the breadwinner.
Addressing the media, Lokesh said that TDP has set a target of enrolling 18-25 lakh members in a month. Youngsters will be go knocking on the doors of villages in AP and Telangana, offering membership at Rs 10.
