Telangana, Andhra Pradesh to get green cover
Union minister for environment, forest and climate change, Prakash Javadekar will soon convene a meeting between the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments to find an effective way to curb red sander smuggling in the two states.
The union minister iterated that the government was planning to developmental activities sans destuctions. He also saod that 46 industries had been shut down for polluting the Ganges.
Afforestation is the need of the hour, he said.
