Jagan, the prime accused in the case, his close aide and financial advisor V Vijay Sai Reddy and other accused including former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao also appeared before the court in connection with different aspects of the case.


A few industrialists and some IAS officers, who have been named in the 11 charge sheets, also appeared before the court.

The case pertains to alleged investments made by various private firms and individuals to the tune of several crores of rupees in Jagan's businesses as part of quid-pro-quo arrangement for various favours bestowed on them during the tenure of his father late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh between 2004 and 2009.
