Naidu, who called on Rajnath during his one day visit of New Delhi is learnt to have complained about the attitude of the TS government over issues like sharing of river waters, power, office space, PSUs and conduct of Intermediate exams.
The Chief Minister, sources said, urged the Union Home Minister to prevail upon the TS government to respect the Act in letter and spirit. It may be mentioned here that Naidu recently appointed a seven-member task force, comprising of TDP and BJP MPs from AP and Telangana, to bring to the notice of the Prime Minister the issues concerning the two Telugu states and seek Centre's intervention to resolve the contentious issues.

He also called on the BJP president Amit Shah and held confabulations with him. The meeting assumes significance as BJP, which is the partner in the AP government headed by Naidu, is making all out efforts by inducting leaders from other parties such as the Congress and the YSRC into it with a sole aim to make the party emerge as an alternative to the TDP by 2019 general polls in the reorganised State.

Naidu also met Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari separately.

Sources said when Naidu made a presentation about the AP stand over the issue of power generation by TS from Srisailam power project to the Irrigation Minister Uma Bharati.
