Hyderabad: The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has extended the last date for paying Intermediate Public Examinations fee under Tatkal scheme. According to the scheme, candidates who could not pay exam fee and attendance exemption (Arts group) can pay from November 21 to December 6.

Rama Sankar Naik, secretary, BIE, on Friday informed that candidates have to pay tatkal examination fee in their respective colleges and forward their applications from colleges concerned. The board secretary said that students would be charged Rs 500 as tatkal fee. Candidates who wish to apply under the scheme have to pay Rs 290 separately for Inter I and II. For candidates appearing for both the exams i.e. Inter I and II Rs 580 would be charged.

Secretary made it clear that candidates seeking attendance exemption have to pay Rs 500 in addition to the examination fee to the principal of the college and submit attendance exemption form and examination application forms to the principal of the Government Junior Colleges as per the dates along with original SSC, TC, Intermediate Memo of Marks (for Group Change candidates) and a set of attested photocopies of certificates.

He also said that there would not provision for payment of attendance exemption and exams fee by the private candidates by way of Demand Drafts. Last date for submission of I and II Year MNRs of attendance exempted candidates along with on line fee challan and enclosures by the principal in RIO Office is December 8, secretary informed.
