A journey through the tiger reserves

Land Rover announced the launch of a new book that tracks the tiger through India’s tiger reserves on Wednesday. The book has been written and crafted in collaboration with respected auto journalist and wildlife lover Bob Rupani.

The book is a celebration of the beauty of India’s varied wildlife and showcases in real time a 50-day journey around the country’s best tiger reserves. Bob’s first-hand account of the tiger reserves and the wildlife that resides in them is supported with real-time photography by renowned wildlife and nature photographer Dhrittiman Mukherjee.

“It gives us pleasure reveal to you ‘Tracking the Tiger’, an exemplary piece of work by Bob Rupani. As a veteran automotive journalist, holding a deep-rooted passion for nature and wildlife, Bob narrates his story from the interiors of the Indian jungles, with the view to create a compelling read for wildlife and travel enthusiasts alike.

The captivating memoir covers anecdotes of the travelers, as they explored 13 wildlife sanctuaries, across varied off-road terrains,” said Rohit Suri, vice president, Jaguar Land Rover India.

Narayan Rupani, the author of the book, is better known as Bob. Bob is one of India’s most senior and respected auto journalists. Over the years, he has been the executive editor of magazines such as Car & Bike International, Auto Motor & Sport (India), BBC Top Gear (India) and Auto India. He also writes a monthly column for Evo India magazine.

Bob has authored the critically acclaimed bestsellers ‘Driving Holidays in India’ and its later edition ‘More Driving Holidays in India and India’s 100 Best Destinations’.
