The government of Andhra Pradesh has made a new request for central government. It has asked the Centre for Rs 1,00,213 crore for the construction of the new capital city along with essential infrastructure and amenities.
Hyderabad: The government of Andhra Pradesh has made a new request for central government. It has asked the Centre for Rs 1,00,213 crore for the construction of the new capital city along with essential infrastructure and amenities.
The Andhra Pradesh government even sent another report to the Central Planning Commission and the 14th Finance Commission. According to the report the capital city will need 4 lakh crore for rebuilding the infrastructure for the new capital along with adequate linkages to other parts of the state.
“Our major concern now is to immediately develop our capital city so that we can achieve a smooth transfer of the administrative and legislative functions from Hyderabad to the new location as expeditiously as possible,” the report said.
