GHMC to clear pending files by Dec
The Commissioner also directed the Zonal Commissioners, Additional Commissioners and HODs of the GHMC and instructed all the heads of the departments to submit the remaining applications and speed up the process of e-office.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Somesh Kumar directed all zonal and deputy commissioners to clear the pending files pertaining to occupancy certificates and building permissions by December 10, 2014. From 2010 till date 47,778 building permissions were received out of which 38,364 have been approved. There are 1,268 applications that are pending while 5,603 have been rejected.In regard to occupancy certificates, 453 are pending out of 7,312 received between the period 2010 to November 25, 2014.
The Commissioner also directed the Zonal Commissioners, Additional Commissioners and HODs of the GHMC and instructed all the heads of the departments to submit the remaining applications and speed up the process of e-office.
Ahmed Babu, Special Commissioner, GHMC gave a power point presentation on e-office and explained the registration to be made and how to upload the files on e-office.
