Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned to set up one-stop crisis centers in every district by the end of December. These crisis centers are to address the women in distraught.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned to set up one-stop crisis centers in every district by the end of December. These crisis centers are to address the women in distraught.
Senior IAS official Poonam Malakondaiah said that there will be one centre for every district and three centers in capital city. “These centers will redress the grievances of children and women in distress due to any atrocity,” Ms Malakondaiah said.
She also added that Women are not comfortable approaching the police stations to lodge complaints. So to help them each center will be having a counselor, lady advocate, police personnel headed by a lady SP.
