Protect Wakf lands: TRS Minority Cell

Warangal: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Minority cell president Mohammed Nayeemuddin appealed to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to lay special emphasis on the recovery of Wakf lands being encroached across the state.

He welcomed the state government’s decision to constitute house committee to probe into the alleged encroachment of government, assigned and endowments lands by land grabbers. ‘This initiative would go long way in the protection of Wakf lands’ he added.

The house committee should thoroughly probe into all such occupations and retrieve the land from the land-grabbers, he said.
