Unknown Mahabharata

Many of us term our epics as just stories. But by the name they suggest Itihasa- as it happened. In Mahabharata a line from a shloka:

Yadhihasthi thadhanyathra

Yannehasti nathathkwachith

The worldly things are embedded in this. The things absent in this are seen no where in the world.

If Mahabharata was a mere story then Vyasa would be the greatest poet in the world. Mahabharata is the greatest writing in the world with more than 1, 00,000 verses, which is 4 times the Ramayana and longer than Greek epics, Iliad and Odyssey put together. Mahabharata has Dharma (the righteous), Artha (the wealth), Kama (the lust) and Moksha (the merit).

The astras in MB are nothing but atomic weapons. It is said in MB that the usage of Brahmastra once would destroy the opponent and its second release would cause severe famine. Historians believe that the twice usage of Brahmastra is the cause for drying of river Saraswathi. A verse in MB which suggests the use of atomic weapons:

The unknown weapon is radiant lightning, a devastating messenger of death, which turned all to ashes- a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe. An incandescent column of smoke and flame as bright as a thousand suns rose in all its splendor, a perpendicular explosion with its billowing smoke clouds; the cloud of smoke rising after its first explosion formed into expanding round circles like the opening of giant parasols. The corpses were so burned as to be unrecognizable. Hair and nails fell out, pottery broke without apparent cause, and birds turned white. In a very short time, food became poisonous. The lightning subsided and turned into fine ash.

The creator of modern atomic bomb- Oppenheimer was asked after the first test explosion how he felt after having exploded the first atomic bomb on earth. Oppenheimer had replied that it probably wasn’t the first atomic bomb, but the first atomic bomb in modern times. He also quoted from Bhagavad-Gita: I have become the deadly time, destroyer of the worlds. Leaving you, no one will be spared in this war. Does Oppenheimer hinting us the usage of bombs in ancient times? Also carbon dating of a skull which was found in an excavation proved that the man died in a war and the skull was still emitting radiation. It denotes the usage of atomic weapons. The discovery of an inundated city in Dwaraka in Gujarat strengthens the proof of Mahabharata. A seal was also found in the sea, which assures the citizenship of Dwaraka, as suggested by MB.

In Mahabharata’s Mausala Parva the inundation of Dwaraka was mentioned, after the nirvana of Balarama and Krishna. Also based on the scientific dating of MB by Planetarium software some gave it as 3000 BCE (before Common Era, formerly known as BC), whereas some dated it to 1500 BCE. According to the Aihole inscription of famous Chalukya king, Pulakesin ll, 3735 years had passed since the Mahabharata war. The inscription is dated to 635 CE, suggesting that the war was believed by ancient Indians to have taken place in 3102 BCE.

In MB Kauravas and their sister, Dushala were born in pots filled with ghee. This is what we call invitro fertilization in biology. We are able to grow plants by this technique now-a-days, but our ancestors are very forward in this context. Before Kauravas, the sons of king Sagara, the grand father of Bhagiratha had 60,000 sons born by this pot technique. And also the child in Devaki’s womb gets transferred into Rohini’s womb (who became Balarama later) which is not known to human knowledge. And in Ramayana the building of Rama-sethu at a length of 30 km over the sea, declares the enginerial skills in those days. In Rameshwaram one can find the remains of Rama-sethu.

Scientists found a skelton of a giant in a recent excavation . the skeleton is believed to be the Ghatothkach, son of Bhima.

In Ramayana the flying object Pushpaka Vimana suits the aeroplanes in modern times. The Rig-Veda gives us the information of making of ships and aeroplanes. Anelak Subbaraya Sastri built the first aeroplane 8 years before Wright Brothers. But the idea was suppressed by the then rulers and Britishers. We Indians are nothing less than westerners in science. But we are forgetting our mother science and running behind the foreigners.

Indians are never scum; they can prove themselves, if given a chance.
