Plot:

The film is a remake of the Hindi hit Malamaal weekly that starred Paresh Rawal in an important role. The film is about an impoverishe village where villagers' possessions are mortgaged to the local village head following droughts. One of the few luxuries that villagers can afford is the lottery which gives them hope.

Review: A lottery ticket changes the fortunes of the whole village. Unlike other priyadrashan movies, don't expect a laugh riot. Although it has interesting elements right from the start, the plot lacks any substance.

Verdict: Nothing extraordinary about it.

Rating: 2.5/5
