Telangana Chief Whip assumes charge
Dharampuri MLA Koppula Eshwar has assumed charge as Chief Whip of Telangana government on Friday. Thanking Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for the opportunity, he stated that he would speak on behalf of people of the State in Assembly.

Legislative Affairs Minister T Harish Rao and Assembly Secretary Raja Sadaram, besides family members of Eshwar were present on the occasion.
With Eshwar accepting chief whip post, the dissent in Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) camp over losing cabinet berths has almost died down. According to party sources, KCR will do a rejig of the cabinet in another six months time during which he will induct at least two members, Koppula and a woman leader into his cabinet.
Meanwhile, MLAs Gampa Govardhan and Gongidi Sunitha assumed charge as Government Whips. The other whip, Nallala Odelu, who was also present, told reporters that he would be taking charge in next couple of days.
