JNTUK Registrar GVR Prasada Raju exhorted the people to make use the provisions of Right to Information Act (RTI) to eradicate the scourge of corruption in public offices and to improve transparency in administration.

Kakinada: JNTUK Registrar GVR Prasada Raju exhorted the people to make use the provisions of Right to Information Act (RTI) to eradicate the scourge of corruption in public offices and to improve transparency in administration. He released the RTI 2005 bare act book at his chambers on the premises of JNTUK here on Friday. The book was published by Ikya Vedika. Prasada Raju commended Ikya Vedika members for bringing book on RTI in simple language.


Chetan, Ikya Vedkia district unit president presided over the programme. He said that the organisation has set a target of achieving 10,000 memberships by 2015. The books will be distributed to increase membership, he said.

Chetan called up the members to make success the training classes to be held at Dorakunta from December 28to30.

Ikya Vedika secretary M Satya, vice president Vuppala Narasimha Murthy, publicity secretary Y Chinna Babu, members Subash Babu, Dandangi, Narasimha Rao, Satyanandam, BC Sangham president V Rajeswara Rao and others were present.
