Kiss of Love insulting Love!

Kerala youth started the Kiss of Love campaign to protest moral policing. They started organising mass public kissing and this turned out to be a rage with youth from other cities too trying to emulate them.

But many are left asking organisers are conducting Kiss of Love campaign for whom. Experts say both moral policing and at the same time Kiss of Love campaign are too extreme forms which are dangerous to the society.

They say aping western culture which has become a fashion also is loaded with lot of negative effects. They cite the gun culture, increased abortion rates etc in the West. At the same time, they say women shouldn't be restricted on their attire and behavior by moral police.

Psychologists feel 'love' is something sacred and it is related to heart and one need not express it with public kissing en mass to everyone. They question the need for youth to prove their love to someone when love requires only acceptance of two hearts. They say youth is insulting love with such frivolous immature approach.

Love is something personal and private and Indian culture is never against it. While the West accepts any male kissing female, even outgoing husbands will not allow their wives or boyfriends allow their girlfriends getting kissed by all and sundry. The youth must realise they are only insulting the emotion with their Kiss of love campaign.
