KCR was speaking at a dinner hosted by Telangana government at a city hotel for Christian community in view of Christmas celebrations. He sought co-operation of Christians for various government initiatives in twin cities like cleaning of Hussain Sagar Lake and easing traffic congestion. He stated that poor Christian families would also benefit from government decision to regularise constructions in 125 square yards or less.

KCR called upon Christian community to approach his government on any issue confronting them. He desired the new Christian Bhavan (to be built) in Secunderabad to become as one of the landmarks in the State capital. A big auditorium to house 3,000 guests as well as a big dining hall besides a sprawling garden would be built in the given two acres.

Government would release extra Rs 2 crore if the presently announced Rs 10 crore was insufficient. The entire nation should stand up and take notice of this, he felt. KCR further instructed senior IAS officer Raymond Peter to rope in world renowned architects to build this building on par with international standards.
