A science exhibition was held in the premises of a Venkateswara temple at Brindavan Gardens, Guntur, on Friday. It was organised by Samskara Bharathi as a tribute to the scientific achievements of India. Venkateswara Temple Committee chairman Ch Mastanaiah inaugurated the exhibition.

As many as 23 stalls were set up at the exhibition in which 238 students displayed their models on a wide range of topics. A large number of students from various schools in Guntur visited the science exhibition. Samskara Bharathi secretary Kota Srinivasa Rao said that the science exhibition was organised to unearth the hidden talent and creativity of students. “Science exhibitions will help students develop a rational thinking, which is vital for their academic growth.

Scientific attitude and rational thinking are essential to eradicate superstitions in the society,” he said. Samskara Bharathi founder president Indla Sridhar Babu, vice-presidents Ch Sivannarayana and Ch Nageswara Rao, assistant secretaries K Chantibabu and N Srinivasa Rao, treasurer P Srinivasa Reddy, temple committee members Vijaykumar, G Radhakrishna Murthy and others were present.
