Popular author, entrepreneur and e-publisher Rashmi Bansal, who is renowned for books like ‘Stay Hungry Stay Foolish’ and ‘Poor Little Rich Slum’ released her new book ‘I Have A Dream’ at the HLF. The book is based on young entrepreneurs. “The book consists of stories of the young and adolescents who chose to have a dream and pursue it. The book serves as an inspiration to many who are caught in the run-of-the-mill college and placements routine,” says Rashmi.

Incidentally Rashmi herself is an IIM-Ahmedabad graduate who chose to write instead of working for corporates. “My internship and the survey that I did on detergents convinced me that I am not made to sell soaps and detergents,” she says. “The pressure from family and peers is always there. It needs courage to start something on our own. In the US, kids are taught to earn pocket money.

Rashmi sticks to the format of smaller stories to make it easier for readers to relate to her stories and her happiness lies in the fact when people who are inspired get back to her. “Entrepreneurship is creating your own destiny and success lies in knowing what you want and choosing to follow the path. Success does not necessarily mean you are happy,” she relates.
