Hyderabad: Following the fast paced political developments the race for Warangal Lok Sabha seat has begun.
Those who are said to be aspiring to get into the good books of the Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao are former Congress MP G Vivek (son of late G Venkataswamy) and Manda Jagannadham. While Vivek is presently in Congress party, Manda is with the TRS only.

Vivek shares a good understanding with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family members. Vivek joined TRS in 2013 but returned to Congress just before general elections in 2014. He contested from Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency but lost out to Balka Suman. It remains to be seen whether TRS party or Vivek himself will be making a move to this effect. He, however, needs to join TRS again if he wishes to contest from Warangal.

Senior leader Manda Jagannadham had lost to Congress candidate Nandi Yelliah in Nagarkurnool MP election. It will be very difficult for TRS leadership to deny him the ticket if he showed interest in the election.
