Ex servicemen stage protest on R Day

Kadapa: Ex-servicemen belonging to Kadapa district staged a protest at Collectorate here on Monday demanding solutions to their problems. The protest was organised by the District Ex-servicemen Union. The union members said that the officials were showing apathy towards implementing various rules and regulations and the constitution.

Laxminarayana, president of the district Ex-servicemen Union, said the administration was neglecting to implement the various rules and regulations in their case. Laxminarayana said they had met district officials many times pleading for steps to redress their grievances. He also alleged that the district officials did not respond to their pleas.
