‘Controversy’ depicted the struggle of a common man in getting justice in a democratic country. Though the actors did justice to their roles, it might be more effective if some scenes were made crispy. Chowdary, AV Nagaraju, V Satyanarayana, Uma, Praveen Kumar, Pujita, Varma and Srikanth played the main roles in the playlet.

Music for both the playlets was composed by Sitaram, Paramesh, Karthik, Chakri, Kamani and Narasimha Rao. Pavani Sudha presented a dance recital ‘Neela Megha Sareera’ (Tarangam), which regaled the audience. The second week programme of NTR Kala Vedika concluded with a folk dance by Madala Gopala Krishna and his troupe.
