The British Council in collaboration with English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, will be hosting the fifth International English Language Teacher Educator Conference in Hyderabad from February 27 to March 1. The conference will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad.
New Delhi: The British Council in collaboration with English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, will be hosting the fifth International English Language Teacher Educator Conference in Hyderabad from February 27 to March 1. The conference will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad.
This year marks fifth anniversary of the annual International English Language Teacher Educator Conference. The conference will bring together teachers from all over the world to discuss, debate and make policy level recommendations. This year, the conference will focus on ensuring quality in teacher education in the belief that quality in teachers’ learning leads to better learning outcomes for our learners.
The theme allows a wide-ranging exploration of teacher education in India and beyond, with a focus on quality in both pre-service education and in-service training. Over 100 experts and renowned scholars from the UK, India and internationally will speak at the conference, including practicing teacher educators from India and the region.
