Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to bag the Indian of the Year contest. If a report doing the rounds is to be believed then the TRS chief has overtaken senior Kerala cop P Vijayan. KCR has already earned 31% of votes from across India. Vijayan has so far bagged 21% votes.

If the numbers stay the same, then the Telangana Chief Minister will become the Indian of the Year-Popular Choice for 2014. The award will be presented at a grand ceremony in New Delhi on January 31.
