Posts Rs 14 cr net profit and `428 crore revenue during third quarter
Hyderabad: City-based Gati Limited, which is into express distribution and supply chain solutions, posted Rs 14 crore net profit for the third quarter ended December 2014, a growth of 60.9 per cent from Rs 8.7 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. The company attributed the significant rise in net to its high performance in ecommerce business.
The company's consolidated income went up by 15 per cent to Rs 428 crore in the same period as compared with Rs 374 crore a year ago. “Our performance for the third quarter has been good. In the e-commerce segment, we continue to perform extremely well and remain confident of sustaining these high growth levels in the coming quarters as well,” said Mahendra Agarwal, Founder and CEO, Gati Limited.
Looking ahead, implementation of GST, gradual improvement in the economy and continued high growth in e-commerce augurs well for an excellent FY-16 for Gati, he added.
