Telangana state Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has convened a Cabinet meeting on January 30. It is learnt that Housing scheme issue is one of the main subjects in the agenda to be discussed in the meeting set to be held from 2 pm at Secretariat.

Mission Kakatiya and Drinking Water Grid will also figure in discussions. Rao and his Council of Ministers will discuss on how to go about implementation of flagship Housing scheme of the TRS party.
They would also debate on the status of the probe into irregularities in the Indiramma Housing scheme during the Congress regime. Also, the Telangana State Cabinet is expected to ratify decisions taken by Chief Minister regarding Urban Housing schemes for poor.
He promised to ensure housing for the poor during his recent visits to districts. Rao likely to visit New Delhi in Feb first week Meanwhile, the Chief Minister will embark on a two-day visit to National Capital in February first week. He will be attending Chief Ministers’ meeting on Neeti Ayog convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 7.
According to Telangana State government’s special representative in New Delhi Venugopalachari, KCR will be meeting few Union Ministers during his visit. He is expected to meet Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and discuss with him on bifurcation of High Court.
