Singareni retired staff will get pension: Eatala

Finance and Civil Supplies Minister Eatala Rajender on Thursday said pensions would be given to the retired Singareni employees. He was addressing the media at Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy’s home in Banswada. He said attendance of the students in government schools began increasing after introducing mid-day meal programme with superfine rice.

He said attendance of the students in government schools began increasing after introducing mid-day meal programme with superfine rice.
The Telangana government is providing six-kg of rice to each family member against four kg of rice which was given earlier. Superfine rice would be served shortly at Anganwadi centres for pregnant women. Around Rs 4,500 crore was being distributed monthly under the pension scheme, he added. He assured that all the eligible persons would get pensions.
