Hyderabad: A businessman and his family went missing from their residence at NGOs Colony under Vanasthalipuram police station limits on Friday. Relatives grew suspicious after finding a suicide note at their residence, which was purportedly written by the head of the family, the businessman. Police began search operation in the city and Adilabad from where the last call was received on Saturday.

According to police, Subba Rao who left in a car, along with the family, including wife Girija, two children Sanvitha and Ritwik, informed his friends that he was going to a temple on Friday evening. Worried by their failure to return, his brother broke open the lock of their house and found a suicide note. In the note, the Subba Rao stated that he would be committing suicide after killing his wife and two children. The anxious relatives immediately approached the police station.

The police, who began search operation of the family members, alerted police of other districts. The relatives of the family received the last call from Adilabad on Saturday morning. The Cyberabad police immediately alerted the Adilabad police for tracing the family.
