Warangal: MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to take responsibility for the spread of Swine Flu and ongoing deaths caused by it.

He said the KCR removed former health minister Dr T Rajaiah from the cabinet accusing him of failure to control Swine Flu menace and replaced him with Dr C Laxma Reddy.The death toll reached 25. Now he should tell the public who would own the onus whether the CM or the new health minister, Krishna said.

Speaking to press persons here on Saturday, Krishna Madiga said he was declaring a ‘war’ against the CM Chandrshekhar Rao for meting out injustice to dalits, particularly, Madigas. “We will lay siege to KCR’s residence on April 4 with thousands of Mala and Madiga community members”, he said.

Prior to that a ‘Danda Yatra’ would be launched on February 16 from Station Ghanpur in Warangal and it would pass through all the 119 Assembly constituencies before reaching Indira Park on April 3 night and the next day they would proceed towards residence of KCR.

The MRPS leader wanted Chandrashekhar Rao to drop five ministers belonging to upper castes from his cabinet and induct Mala, Madiga and women MLAs. ‘Three Reddy and two Velama ministers have to be replaced with three Madiga, one Mala and two women, this is our demand’ he said.

He said the CM has lost public support because of his anti-people and unjust acts. In order to build up further momentum against his misrule, a series of agitations by MRPS, Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP), various peoples’ organistions and likeminded political parties would be held from February 5.

All-party meetings at all district and mandal headquarters would be held on February 5 and 7 respectively while demonstrations with black flags at all district headquarters conducted on February 9 to 15.‘This is a struggle for self-respect and social justice. All the political parties and public should support us’ he said.

He demanded the government to come out with a ‘White Paper’ on how many dalits and Reddy, Velama persons present in Dhoom Dhaam. He questioned as to how many of them died for statehood cause.Caste-wise statistics should be brought to provide representation in cabinet accordingly,he said.
