Minister seeks action plan to prevent LPG blasts

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha asked the oil companies to prepare an action plan to curb the growing number of accidents involving LPG cylinders. She said several representations were received from the people pointing out that the services being provided by the companies were not satisfactory and on many occasions, LPG cylinders were being delivered without washers. Sunitha asked the company representatives to take up a campaign to create awareness among people on the safe usage of LPG cylinders and also ensure immediate response to the customers from the dealers of oil companies at the local level.
